Key Chevrolet Service Advisor

Key Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC Inc., a member of the Key Auto Group, is currently accepting resumes for a Service Advisor. We are looking for an organized, customer service-oriented individual whose primary responsibility is to act as a liaison between the customer and Service Technician. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by listening to the customers needs, communicating repair and maintenance information with associated costs, and providing regular customer updates regarding the status of their repair.
  • Preparing work orders that describe the vehicles problem, the potential repairs required, the time it takes to complete the repair and the estimated cost.
  • Completing internal, online and outside training as outlined by the Service Manager and required by GM Canada.
  • Handling customer complaints and ensuring he/she is satisfied with the service.
  • Ensuring proper flow and accurate completion of all repair orders to satisfy warranty, dealership and manufacturer requirements.
  • Participating in the Key Auto Group safety program and following all safe work practices and policies.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to work well with others in a team-based environment.
  • Strong computer and data-entry skills.
  • Effective time management and problem solving skills.
  • Previous automotive experience is not required but is considered an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License and a Criminal Record Check are required.
  Working Conditions:
  • A considerable amount of the workday will be spent on foot. A reasonable level of physical fitness and flexibility is beneficial.
