Purpose of Job:

The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting several different automotive dealerships within the Key Auto Group by developing and executing marketing initiatives that will have a direct impact on the success of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with management at multiple automotive dealerships to understand individual needs and develop and execute appropriate marketing initiatives.
  • Planning and executing advertising campaigns (ie. online and radio).
  • Working with a customer database.
  • Planning, coordinating, and attending customer appreciation events.
  • Developing social media content, including videos.
  • Posting information on the company's social media platforms.
  • Working closely with the marketing team.
  • Understand website & digital analytics
  • Keeping all marketing related documents organized and confidential.
  • Running campaigns on social media, mail outs or E-blasts.

The Key Auto group is currently seeking (1)  Entry Level Automotive Service Technician

Purpose of Job:

The job of the service technician is to examine, test, and repair the parts and systems on cars and light trucks. They often used computerized diagnostic equipment to test, adjust and repair key vehicle components such as engines, steering systems, braking systems, drive trains, vehicle suspensions, and electrical systems. The work also involves reassembling and testing repaired items against manufacturer standards, as well as performing preventative maintenance such as wheel alignments, oil changes, and tune ups.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain shop equipment.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures; wear appropriate personal protection equipment.
  • Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform the repair in a timely manner.
  • Examine and test drive vehicles to determine what repairs are required or if additional service work is required.
  • Perform the installation, repairs, fabrication, alignments, changes, lubrication, replacement, and overhaul of whichever parts (including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems) needed using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment on required repairs or inspections.
  • Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts and save/tag parts if the repair is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
  • Maintain timely, accurate records of work performed per repair. Perform scheduled maintenance service such as oil changes, lubrications, and tune ups.
  • Advise Service Advisors on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units, such as engines, transmissions, axles, and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions.
  • Participate in factory-sponsored training programs and keep current of all factory technical bulletins.
  • Maintain work and shop area in a neat and clean manner and account for any/all business-owned tools and equipment at all times.
  • Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean.
  • Notify management of any difficulties or problems which risk interfering with the performance of quality work.

Purpose of Job:

Swan River’s Key Chevrolet, a member of the Key Auto Group is looking to hire (1) Full Time Apprentice Service Technician to work in our service department. Successful applicant must be able to work well on a team, display great customer service and perform automotive maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Delivering a positive first impression to each guest with a warm, friendly greeting.
  • Building trust and encouraging repeat, loyal customers.
  • Evaluating the customers' needs and then performing the services on their vehicle in a timely fashion.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment including using all safety equipment andfollowing all safety procedures.
  • Cleaning, organizing and stocking work station.
  • Reporting for shift on time and dressed in proper uniform to include slip resistant steel toe shoesand good hygiene.
  • Placing protective covers on the customers seat, floor and steering wheel.
  • Driving customers vehicle into/out of the bay area.
  • Ensuring proper care is taken to help eliminate damage to customers vehicle.
  • Checking and communicating initial oil level.
  • Completing under vehicle inspection.
  • Removing oil drain plug, loosening, and removing oil filter, wiping mounting plate and checkingfilter spindle.

The Key Auto group is currently seeking (1)  Full Time Sales/Installer person at our Yorkton Cap-It location.

Purpose of Job:

The primary responsibilities of the sales and installer Representative is to provide excellent customer service; share expertise on accessories as well as sell and maintain inventory; merchandising; and support Cap-It general practices. The successful candidate will also be capable of installations of accessories while providing excellent customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Safety and cleanliness of the shop.
  • Installation of accessories, suspensions, rims, lift kits, etc.
  • Removing tires, changing tires, utilization of tire balancer, installing on vehicle, torqueing lug nuts to spec, retorqueing after 100 km, reverse mounting, how to identify a reverse mount.
  • Installing LED upgrade kits; handling HID; installing LED Bars and Pods; installing lighting brackets; wiring into factory harness, 5th wheel and gooseneck towing hitches.
  • Familiarity with Cap- It products.
  • Ongoing learning and development.
  • Some heavy lifting in required.

Purpose of Job:

Automotive Service Technicians examine, test, and repair the parts and systems on cars and light trucks.  They often used computerized diagnostic equipment to test, adjust and repair key vehicle components such as engines, steering systems, braking systems, drive trains, vehicle suspensions, and electrical systems.  The work also involves reassembling and testing repaired items against manufacturer standards, as well as performing preventative maintenance such as wheel alignments, oil changes, and tune-ups. As an Apprentice, you must be willing to attend technical training school off-site. Eventually, you will grow the skill set to become a Journeyperson Technician.
